Downloading AccuWeather.com Desktop is Easy. Before you download, just make sure your computer has the minimum requirements to run this application:

Internet connection.
Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP (Mac OS currently not supported.)
Internet Explorer 5 or higher
5 MB of diskspace

Note to Windows NT, 2000 and XP users: You must have "Administrator" privileges to install this software correctly. If you do not have "Administrator" privileges or if you are not sure, please contact your systems administrator.

The AccuWeather Channel Online Desktop program is set-up using the Microsoft® Windows® Installer. Normally, the Windows installer is already installed for Windows ME/2000/XP users. Windows 95/98/NT users may need to download the installer.

Important Note: Many anti-virus programs and even some browsers contain built-in suppression of popups. Ads, and/or images. The default settings of such software may interfere with the normal operation of this program.

Users may need to download and run the Windows installer software (instmsia.exe) and then repeat the installation of the file ALERT182.msi

Download Windows Installer for Windows NT/2000/XP

Windows NT 4.0 , Windows 2000, and Windows XP
Users must download and run the Windows installer software (instmsiw.exe) and then repeat the installation of the file ALERT182.msi
